Junior Data Scientist at Xponent AI will be pivotal in supporting the analytics framework of an Xponent AI by assisting in the development, refinement, and implementation of data models that drive strategic decision-making. This position focuses on pre-processing large datasets, performing exploratory data analysis, and applying machine learning techniques to derive actionable insights.

Junior Data Scientist collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and contribute to projects that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business growth. This role serves as a foundational step in cultivating expertise in data science, fostering a deep understanding of analytical techniques and their real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data science toolkits such as pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Eagerness to learn from others and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Some experience in using query languages such as SQL.
  • Good communication skills to effectively report your findings and ideas.
  • A curious mindset that is driven by the desire to solve problems and build solutions.
  • Interest in pursuing further education and certifications in data science.
